Technical Program Manager (TPM)

Location: US Remote | Chicago, IL | McLean, VA | Richmond, VA

Role Overview As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive the strategy and execution of large-scale, technically complex, and cross-functional engineering programs. Partnering closely with product and engineering teams, you will help break down organizational silos, evaluate technical trade-offs, and solve complex system design challenges to deliver high-impact business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Execution: Lead end-to-end planning, scoping, prioritization, milestone tracking, and risk management for cross-functional technical initiatives.

• Technical Engagement: Active participant in system design, architecture, and build conversations; identify patterns affecting product quality and resolve complex technical dependencies.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering and product leaders to shape roadmaps, align stakeholders, manage trade-offs, and clear execution blockers.

• Domain Focus: Drive specialized technical areas such as well-managed systems, cloud infrastructure, and engineering productivity.

Qualifications

• Strong technical acumen with hands-on engineering or technical program management experience.

• Proven experience in Financial Services, Payments, or Credit Cards.

• Experience with technology risk, compliance, and application governance.

• Excellent cross-functional communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
