AI Engineer - 3 months - Circa 450 per day inside ir35 - Remote

Please note: Due to the nature of the project, successful applicants will be required to be SC cleared prior to appointment

Lead the practical design, prototyping and evaluation of OpenAI-powered solutions to augment Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities. The role will work alongside the AI Solution Architect and Business Analyst to translate discovery findings into working proof-of-concepts, validate technical feasibility, and assess how Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), assistants and agentic AI approaches can safely support SOC analysts and cyber operations.
The role will focus on the application of OpenAI technologies to real-world cyber use cases, ensuring solutions are secure, responsible, measurable and aligned to operational requirements.

• OpenAI platform and API development
• Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI Prompt engineering and prompt optimisation
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementation
• Agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration AI assistant and copilot development
• Python development and AI frameworks
• Vector databases and knowledge retrieval SOC processes and cyber security operations understanding
• Evaluation frameworks and model performance testing
• Responsible AI and AI safety controls Integration with SIEM, SOAR and cyber platforms
