They are seeking a dedicated Network Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to an evolving defense network program. The Role • Provide comprehensive Network Engineering support for the design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of an evolving network architecture. • Manage network architecture, including operational and security-related updates and changes. • Lead deployment planning and coordination of network system upgrades at various field sites, both CONUS and OCONUS as required. • Interface with Tier 2 support to assist with coordination and issue escalation as appropriate. • Provide briefings and regular status updates to Program leadership on network-related issues. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field with 8-15 years of relevant experience. • Active and current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in network infrastructure, with a focus on Juniper SSR architecture and configuration. • Expertise in SD-WAN technologies and implementation, with a proven track record in SD-WAN solutions. • Proficiency in Cisco IOS/IOS-XE operating systems, and a strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP). • Experience with network virtualization, software-defined networking, network automation tools, and WAN optimization.
