Longbridge Financial (LBF) is looking for a motivated part-time ( appx 20 hours per week)  Recruiting Intern to support our Recruitment Manager. You’ll get hands-on experience in sourcing, screening and onboarding, and you’ll help with other recruitment projects that come up during your internship.

This role suits a current student or recent graduate who wants a practical start in recruiting for a financial services company.

What you’ll do

• Source candidates for open positions
• Screen candidates and give feedback to the hiring team
• Help write and post job openings
• Track background checks through to completion
• Give new hires information about benefits and 401(k) enrollment

Nice to have

• Coursework or experience in recruiting or office administration
• Interest in a career in HR or people operations
• Interest in the financial services industry

 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage several tasks at once
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to keep information strictly confidential
• Ability to work in the Paramus, NJ office 20 hours a week

• Working in a growing and dynamic industry
• This is a part-time internship 20 hours a week, $20 per hour
