QA/QC Professional (3994)

Position Summary 

The QA/QC Professional will represent the Subcontractor on all quality matters and will be responsible for implementing the approved Quality Assurance Plan. This position oversees required testing and inspections, maintains quality records and documentation, and administers nonconformance identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution processes. 

The role requires an experienced quality professional with demonstrated construction QA/QC expertise and the certifications, inspection knowledge, and visual capabilities required under RFP Section 3.2(4)(d). 

Responsibilities 

• Represent the Subcontractor on quality matters and serve as the primary point of coordination for QA/QC activities. 

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Assurance Plan in accordance with contract requirements. 

• Oversee, coordinate, and document required testing and inspections to verify compliance with applicable quality requirements. 

• Manage quality documentation and records to support traceability, completeness, and contract compliance. 

• Administer nonconformance processes, including identification, documentation, tracking, coordination, and disposition of quality issues. 

• Apply knowledge of the U.S. Gypsum Association five levels of finish when evaluating applicable work. 

• Support and evaluate hygrometer and moisture testing activities as required. 

• At least seven years of QA/QC experience. 

• Current ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician, Grade 1 certification. 

• Current Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification. 

• Current U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification or equivalent. 

• Familiarity with the U.S. Gypsum Association five levels of finish. 

• Familiarity with hygrometer and moisture testing. 

• Vision acuity of 20/40 or better and proper color perception. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience representing a subcontractor on project quality matters and implementing a project Quality Assurance Plan. 

• Experience overseeing construction testing and inspections and managing quality documentation and nonconformance processes. 

Education and Experience 

A minimum of seven years of QA/QC experience is required. No specific educational degree requirement was provided. The required certifications and technical qualifications listed above are mandatory.
