Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Technology Lead with strong hands-on mainframe expertise and experience leading multiple engineering teams. The role focuses on mainframe modernization, solution architecture, ZConnect/z/OS Connect, ZDIH, GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, and enterprise integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development, modernization, and support of z/OS, COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and Easytrieve+ applications.
• Own end-to-end SDLC delivery from design through deployment and production support.
• Define solution architecture across mainframe, ZConnect, ZDIH, and distributed/cloud platforms.
• Develop architecture/design documents, integration flows, and technical standards.
• Lead GitLab CI/CD, branching, release management, code quality, and pipeline automation.
• Drive z/OS Connect APIs, ZDIH, API-first, event-driven, and hybrid integration initiatives.
• Establish QA strategy covering unit, integration, regression, automation, and production validation.
• Mentor engineers across Mainframe, DevOps, and integration technologies.
• Manage Agile delivery, backlog, sprint execution, technical risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive modernization initiatives, automation, technical debt reduction, scalability, and operational resilience.
• Track engineering KPIs including deployment performance, defects, test coverage, pipeline health, and delivery predictability.
