SEN / SEND Tutor | Sutton-In-Ashfield, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers for an impactful community-focused organisation that supports young people with diverse needs. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise and make a significant difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1-KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to a mission of raising educational standards for young people with special educational needs.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of teaching experience, with a preference for working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and 2+ professional references.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
