Job Description
IT Finance & Projects Analyst - Procurement - Opex & Capex - Permanent
- Permanent Role
- Hybrid Working - 2 days per week in Office
- Location - Surrey/London
My client who are leaders in their field are looking for an IT Finance and Projects Analyst. You will be Responsible for overseeing the management, governance and delivery of administrative services across Procurement, Finance and Project functions within the IT Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders, invoicing and financial coding, ensuring costs are accurate, correctly allocated and appropriately documented.
- Maintain accurate IT service cost data and develop auditable service catalogues, including recharge and cost allocation processes.
- Manage timesheets, overtime, on-call and expense processes, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
- Support monthly IT budget reviews and contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accruals, fixed assets and financial reporting.
- Review and approve invoices and purchase orders, ensuring appropriate coding and financial controls.
- Liaise confidently with internal and external auditors, providing accurate documentation and supporting evidence.
- Work with Portfolio Management to maintain project and portfolio records, templates, documentation and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve governance, financial controls and administrative processes across IT.
Key Experience & Skills
- Previous experience within an IT or technology environment is desirable.
- Strong financial and budget management skills, with a good understanding of CapEx and OpEx.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Experience in software licence and supplier/vendor management.
