Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage inventory, oversee stock movements, maintain accurate records, and ensure efficient warehouse/store operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, material handling, and warehouse management while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Organize and store materials systematically for easy retrieval and tracking.
  • Issue materials and supplies to departments as per approved requests.
  • Track stock movements and update inventory management systems.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Prepare inventory reports and maintain documentation of receipts, issues, and stock balances.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams regarding deliveries and inventory requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse/store area.
  • Follow company policies and OSHA safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Degree or Diploma required.
  • Experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or related role.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Experience with inventory management software, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of barcode scanning and inventory tracking systems.
