Position : QA Automation Engineer (Playwright & Python)

Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

• QA Automation Engineer (SDET – Python) role focused on building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks with strong Python and Pytest framework.
• Requires hands-on experience in UI automation with Playwright, Standalone API testing, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong QA background with exposure to test strategies and QA processes
• Experience in AI testing and hands on usage of AI MCPs. Good if they have MCPs
• Involves defining test strategy, executing regression/system/sanity testing, and performing release and production validation.
• Ideal candidate should understand QA methodologies, Agile practices, test data management, and collaborate effectively with Product, Dev, and DevOps teams.
• Candidate should be willing to play Lead role and guide the team spread across the globe.  

Must Have Skills:

Python, Playwright, Jenkins, Awareness of QA test areas ( Sanity, smoke, regression, performance ) and QA processes.
