Position Overview

• Work Location: Indianapolis, IN (46218)
• Work Arrangement: Onsite
• Shift: 12.5-hour day shifts (06:30 – 19:30)
• Interview Process: Phone and In-Person interviews

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, physical and psychosocial assessments, and develop treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to standard policies.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and manage agitated patients using behavioral intervention strategies.
• Coordinate workflow with support staff and document electronic medical records (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on treatments, safety, and health goals.

Highlighted Key Skills & Requirements

• Nursing Degree: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Active RN License: Active Indiana RN License or a multi-state Compact (NLC) License.
• Certifications: Active CPR certification.
• Clinical Experience: Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric / Behavioral Health experience.
• Patient Populations: Experience working with Adolescents (12+) and Adults/Geriatrics.
• Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience with EMR systems and basic computer tools.

• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Current Behavioral Intervention training (training provided during orientation).

Schedule & Work Requirements

• Flexibility for weekend and holiday rotations (typically 3 out of 6 weekends).
• Willingness to float to other units within scope of practice as needed.
• Completion of a mandatory 3-week full-time orientation program.
