Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and XML.
• Build reusable UI components using modern Android architecture and UDF patterns.
• Work with Coroutines, Flow, RxJava, REST APIs, and backend integrations.
• Write unit/snapshot tests and troubleshoot crashes, performance issues, and production defects.
• Work with Gradle, Git, CI/CD, debugging, crash reporting, and monitoring tools.
• Follow mobile security and accessibility best practices.
• Collaborate with Mobile developers, UX/UI, QA, Product, BA, and backend teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and XML.
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, RxJava, UDF, MVVM/MVI or Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Android Jetpack, dependency injection, REST APIs, testing, and Gradle.
• Strong production debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and modernizing existing Android applications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
