They are known for their commitment to supporting critical defense technologies and are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join their dynamic team. The Role • Research and write technical operations documentation and training content for specialized military equipment, systems, and software. • Edit and update existing technical content in response to engineering changes. • Create and deliver high-quality technical documentation and training products for submarine sonar systems. • Capture and document operational and maintenance information for new technology introductions to the US Navy submarine fleet. • Communicate technical information clearly to a diverse range of audiences. What You'll Need • Extensive experience and top-level qualifications with BQQ-10 sonar operations. • Ability to write clear, concise language adhering to established standards and conventions. • Proficiency in learning system hardware and software changes through engineering documentation and collaboration. • Experience writing technical content for procedure and service manuals. • Ability to define and create necessary graphics, figures, and drawings, or work with basic graphic applications. • Possess or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (requires US Citizenship).
