Full Stack Engineer

On-site Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in either Physical Location or Westlake, TX
Our client seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the Middleware Engineering and Governance group. The role focuses on building and enhancing applications, defining new capabilities, and providing maintenance and support. You will collaborate with users and business partners, refine requirements, and ensure a groomed backlog for delivery. You will take ownership of product quality and contribute to iterative improvements across services, frameworks, and monitoring solutions.

Rate: $55.00 to $60.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with users and business partners to define and refine requirements following standard methodologies.
• Develop and enhance full stack applications with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and Angular UI.
• Maintain and support production systems, ensuring reliability and quality.
• Prepare and manage a groomed backlog for the development team.
• Contribute to platform understanding and product roadmap execution.
• Participate in Scrum activities including backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Perform internal demos and presentations to communicate solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and version control practices using GitHub and related tools.
• Leverage containerization and orchestration where applicable.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in technology or a related field.
• Proven experience with Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Experience with Angular UI and HTML.
• Experience with GitHub, Insomnia, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Production support experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
• AWS experience with services such as IAM, S3, and Lambda is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills for demos and presentations.
• Basic knowledge or prior experience in financial services is a plus.
• Proficiency with Scrum practices.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
