About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead the technical architecture and design phase of a major project. You will work closely with key stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into a robust, scalable, and secure target architecture.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership throughout the design process, produce high-quality architecture documentation, and ensure solutions are aligned with technical standards and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical architecture and design workshops with stakeholders to validate and finalise requirements emerging from the discovery phase.
- Define and finalise the target architecture, system landscape, and integration approach.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive High-Level Design (HLD) documentation covering:
- Application architecture
- Infrastructure
- Security
- Networking
- Integrations
- Data flows
- Assess current-state architecture and identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and migration considerations.
- Define and incorporate non-functional requirements (NFRs) including availability, scalability, performance, security, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and integration teams to ensure architecture decisions align with technical standards and best practice.
- Review and validate solution designs against established technical architecture guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture recommendations, and effort estimates to support project planning and implementation.
- Present HLD documentation to stakeholders, address feedback, and secure architecture sign-off.
- Support the transition from design into build and implementation, ensuring architecture requirements are clearly communicated to delivery teams.
