Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an SAP EPPM Lead Consultant on behalf of our client in Remote. This role requires a seasoned SAP professional with deep expertise in SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) and SAP Project System (PS) to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise project portfolio management solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, drive solution design, configure SAP EPPM modules, and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle in an SAP S/4HANA environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP EPPM implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives.
• Facilitate business process workshops and gather functional and technical requirements.
• Configure and optimize SAP EPPM components, including:
  • Portfolio Management
  • Project Management
  • Resource Management
  • Project Financials
• Design and support project structures, including WBS elements, networks, milestones, and activities.
• Manage project budgeting, cost planning, forecasting, settlement, and financial tracking processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve project governance, resource planning, and portfolio management capabilities.
• Support integration between SAP EPPM, SAP Project System (PS), SAP S/4HANA, and related SAP modules.
• Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams during solution delivery.
• Support SAP Fiori applications and user adoption initiatives.
• Provide guidance on SAP security and authorization concepts related to project management.
• Participate in testing, training, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project delivery best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM).
• Strong expertise in SAP Project System (PS).
• Proven experience configuring:
  • Portfolio Management
  • Project Management
  • Resource Management
  • Project Financials
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Networks and Activities
  • Milestones
  • Budgeting and Cost Planning
  • Settlement Processes
  • Project Lifecycle Management
• Experience with project scheduling, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
• Solid understanding of project accounting and financial integration.
• Experience working with SAP Fiori applications.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM.
• Knowledge of SAP authorization and security concepts.
• Experience creating functional specifications and business process documentation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP EPPM and/or SAP Project System (PS) certification.
• Experience with large-scale SAP transformation programs.
• Background in project portfolio governance and PMO processes.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country SAP implementations.
• Strong consulting, leadership, and client-facing experience.
