Middleware Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is looking for a Middleware Engineer to help modernize and mature its data and integration services. This position will focus on cloud enablement, continuous delivery, and building robust, efficient integration solutions. The Middleware Engineer will also explore opportunities to appropriately incorporate artificial intelligence to streamline processes and improve technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and automated testing of data and integration services
• Develop solutions using technologies such as Apigee Hybrid, Python, PySpark, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Identify effective and appropriate ways to incorporate artificial intelligence into processes and solutions
• Provide ongoing support for delivered solutions, including performing root cause analysis
• Participate in periodic on-call support responsibilities
• Collaborate with technical and business partners as part of a cross-functional SAFe Agile team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience designing or developing data and integration services
• Experience with automated testing, cloud-enabled solutions, or continuous delivery practices
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis
• Interest in applying artificial intelligence to improve processes and technical solutions
• Experience working within a cross-functional Agile environment

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:

• Apigee Hybrid
• Python
• PySpark
• Kafka
• Docker
• Kubernetes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
