Project Manager(Local to CA)

Role: Project Manager(Locals Only)

Location: Rosemead, CA

Able to work 2 days a week from Rosemead, CA office

Visa: NO GC

Job Description: 

* Lead IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.

* Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.

* Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business, technology, infrastructure, security, vendors, and operations.

* Gather requirements and ensure project deliverables align with business goals.

* Track project progress, manage dependencies, and resolve issues and roadblocks.

* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

* Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder communications.

* Manage scope changes and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.

* Coordinate testing, training, deployment, and transition to operations.

* Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained.

* Report project status, issues, risks, and decisions to leadership.

Qualifications

* Able to work 2 days a week from Rosemead, CA office.

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

* 10+ years of experience managing IT or technology projects.

* Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

* Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, IT infrastructure, systems integration, and enterprise technology.

* Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.

* Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management, and change control.

* Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
