Residential Electrical Sales Technician

Copeland Home Services is looking for a highly motivated Electrical Service Sales Consultant to join our growing residential team in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW), Texas area.

You'll meet homeowners in their homes, understand their electrical needs, and present the right solution — from panel upgrades and whole-home surge protection to EV charger installs, generators, and rewiring. Our average electrical technicians are earning over $100k annually. What You'll Do

• Conduct in-home consultations to assess residential electrical needs and safety concerns
• Partner with licensed electricians to translate diagnostics into clear customer-facing options
• Present tailored solutions and pricing for panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators, surge protection, rewiring, and
• lighting
• Build accurate, professional quotes and proposals using our mobile sales tools
• Close sales with a consultative, customer-first approach — no high-pressure tactics
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals and repeat business
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support urgent residential service requests

What You'll Need

• Texas Electrical License Required or 5-6 years experience in residential electric and ready to test!
• Proven track record in sales; in-home, residential services, or B2C sales strongly preferred
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and comfortable working on a commission-based pay structure
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with homeowners
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Comfortable using a tablet/CRM for quoting and documentation
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call coverage, including some evenings and weekends

• $100K+ annual earning potential for motivated performers

Schedule

Full-time, residential service sales covering the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW), Texas market.

This role participates in a rotating on-call schedule (including some evenings/weekends, with on-call differential pay) to support customers with urgent residential service needs.
