Job Description
This role is part of the NFL Communications Department and supports the day-to-day work of the Football Communications team, with a focus on developing accurate, engaging content about the game.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Football Communications team to develop ideas and create high-quality notes that highlight the game on the field.
- Edit, fact-check, and proofread football-related content.
- Support accreditation, media relations, and media operations for key NFL events, including the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, NFL Combine, and international games.
- Produce weekly metrics recaps covering print, social, and broadcast coverage of Football Communications content.
- Research football information, including game notes, statistics, milestones, and records.
- Assist with distributing press releases, publishing content on media.nfl.com, and posting to the department’s X account, @NFL345.
- Respond to media research and credential inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of work experience in communications or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Deep, comprehensive knowledge of the NFL.
- Strong organizational, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
- Ability to develop fresh, creative ideas, particularly related to NFL statistics.
- Strong social media skills across platforms including X, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools.
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.

Salary / Pay Range

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- Potential to travel during NFL tentpole events, including Super Bowl, Pro Bowl Games, NFL Draft, NFL Combine and International Games.

This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
