Job Description:

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise container and Kubernetes security controls.
• Own the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Wiz platform against Container Security Initiatives.
• Develop security automation, integrations, and operational tooling using Python
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform.
• Develop and enforce policy-as-code, security guardrails, and cloud governance controls.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development workflows.
• Help to dirve and and manage container image scanning, runtime protection, and vulnerability management programs.
• Drive software supply chain security initiatives, including artifact validation and deployment controls.
• Partner with application, platform, and cloud engineering teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform security architecture reviews and provide guidance on secure cloud design patterns.
• Lead remediation efforts for identified cloud and container security risks.
• Develop operational procedures, standards, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate and implement new cloud security technologies and capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across security initiatives.

Cloud & Container Security

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and container security principles.
• Strong understanding of container runtime protection, image security, and workload security.
• Experience securing large-scale cloud-native environments.

Wiz Platform

• Deep hands-on experience with Wiz.
• Experience managing security policies, RBAC, risk management workflows, integrations, and vulnerability management processes.
• Terraform & Infrastructure as Code
• Expert-level Terraform development experience.
• Experience building reusable modules and infrastructure automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of policy-as-code and cloud governance controls.

Python Development

• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Experience developing APIs, automation frameworks, integrations, and operational tooling.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices.

DevSecOps & CI/CD

• Experience securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Experience implementing automated security testing and enforcement controls.

Platforms

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Understanding of IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, and cloud security architecture.

General

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex technical initiatives.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, security, and operational teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Binary Authorization, image signing, and software supply chain security.
• Experience with OIDC and Workload Identity Federation.
• Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Experience building enterprise-scale security automation solutions.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CKA, CKS, Terraform Associate, or cloud security certifications.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, and equivalent work experience
• Typically 6+ years of application development or DevOps/DevSecOps experience Applicable certifications preferred.
