Retail Sales Consultant - Mattress & Bedding

Mattress Firm is seeking a driven Sales Professional to join our Retail Sales & Business Development team. In this customer-focused role, you'll guide shoppers through our broad selection of mattresses and sleep accessories, using consultative selling to identify their needs and recommend tailored solutions. You'll demonstrate products, explain financing and promotions, and process sales accurately while striving to meet or exceed personal and store goals. Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess their sleep needs to recommend optimal mattress and bedding solutions
• Demonstrate product features and explain benefits, pricing, and promotions clearly
• Use POS systems to process sales, financing, returns, and exchanges accurately
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals through consultative selling
• Maintain showroom appearance, including product displays and cleanliness
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Stay current on product knowledge, promotions, and financing options
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store performance targets
• Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
• Assist with basic inventory tasks such as tagging, stocking, and floor resets
