.NET Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with 8+ years of experience designing and building enterprise applications using the latest .NET tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate has mandatory hands-on AI/ML experience (3+ years), enabling them to build intelligent, data-driven features into modern .NET applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET 8/9, ASP.NET Core, and C#
• Architect and build RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications
• Integrate AI/ML models and services into .NET applications (model inference, intelligent features, automation)
• Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize ML models within .NET-based systems
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following SOLID principles and design patterns
• Participate in system architecture, design reviews, and technical decision-making
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level developers
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams alongside DevOps, QA, and Product teams
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional .NET development experience
• Strong expertise in .NET 8/9, ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core
• Mandatory: 3+ years of AI/ML experience including integrating ML models into applications, working with ML frameworks (ML.NET, TensorFlow, PyTorch), or applying AI/ML concepts (NLP, predictive analytics, computer vision) within enterprise applications
• Strong experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with modern .NET tooling: Minimal APIs, Blazor, .NET Aspire, gRPC
• Proficiency with SQL Server / PostgreSQL and Entity Framework / Dapper
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with message queues (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Moq)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI API)
• Experience with ML.NET for building custom models within the .NET ecosystem
• Knowledge of vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
• Exposure to MLOps practices and model lifecycle management
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Blazor WebAssembly)
• Microsoft certifications (Azure Developer Associate, Azure AI Engineer)
