Location: Liverpool
Salary: 35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to join a successful foodservice business, managing and developing customer relationships across the Liverpool area.

This is a field-based sales role where you will be responsible for growing sales, developing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities within the independent fast-food and catering sectors.

You will build strong relationships with customers, understand their individual requirements and work closely with supplier partners to deliver effective sales initiatives and tailored solutions.

The Role

As Sales Executive, your key responsibilities will include:

• Maximising sales with independent fast-food operators and caterers across your designated territory.
• Developing and managing a portfolio of key trading accounts.
• Planning and managing an effective customer journey plan across the territory.
• Identifying and winning new customers to increase sales, profitability and overall customer numbers.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers and understanding their business needs.
• Working collaboratively with supplier partners to develop targeted sales initiatives.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and professional conduct.
• Working closely with the wider sales team to achieve commercial objectives.

About You

We are looking for a confident, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys working independently and building lasting commercial relationships.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a field-based sales, territory management or business development role, ideally within foodservice, FMCG, hospitality or a related sector.
• A strong customer service mindset and a genuine desire to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to identify opportunities and convert them into profitable business.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
• A self-motivated and proactive approach to achieving sales targets.

You don't need to meet every requirement to be considered. If you have strong sales experience, excellent relationship-building skills and an interest in the foodservice sector, we would be keen to hear from you.
