Job Description
We are seeking an Entry-Level Supply Chain Analyst to support supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and data analysis. This position is suitable for entry level candidates with strong analytical skills and an interest in supply chain and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain, inventory, purchasing, and logistics data.
- Monitor inventory levels, orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Assist with demand forecasting and supply planning.
- Support procurement and vendor management activities.
- Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with resolution.
- Prepare reports and dashboards using Excel and other analytical tools.
- Analyze supply chain KPIs such as inventory turnover, lead time, fill rate, and on-time delivery.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve cost, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, operations, and finance teams.
- Maintain accurate supply chain records and documentation.
- Support ERP and supply chain management systems.
- Participate in process-improvement and supply chain optimization projects.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of demand and supply planning.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse and transportation operations.
- Knowledge of procurement and supplier management processes.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
