KPM is a renowned full-service multifamily management company headquartered in Houston, Texas, managing over 16,000 units across several states including Texas, Nevada, and Florida. We specialize in enhancing property value and resident satisfaction through comprehensive and strategic property management. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to lead the operations of our apartment communities. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of property management including tenant relations, financial performance, maintenance, and staff supervision, ensuring the property operates efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the assigned property, ensuring high standards of maintenance, leasing, and resident services.
- Lead and supervise onsite staff, including leasing agents and maintenance personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement property marketing strategies to optimize occupancy and rental income.
- Oversee lease administration, including lease renewals, terminations, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records related to resident accounts, rent collections, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effective maintenance and repair services.
- Handle resident complaints and conflict resolution, promoting tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor property budgets and expenses, working to enhance net operating income and achieve financial goals.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Bilingual skills are required to effectively communicate with diverse resident populations.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in multifamily property management or a related field.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in property management software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) or CAPS (Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor) certification preferred but not required.
