Job Description

Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Worthing, parking on site
Salary: £35k
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 17:00pm, Mon-Fri , office based.

About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join a growing and supportive HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at junior to mid-level who is looking to develop their HR career in a varied and hands-on role.

You'll work closely with managers and employees, providing practical HR advice across the full employee lifecycle and supporting the delivery of key HR initiatives.

HR Advisor responsibilities:

  • Build strong and effective working relationships with managers and employees, providing expert advice and guidance across the full range of people matters to ensure a fair, consistent and legally compliant approach to people management.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Partner with recruitment activities, providing advice on recruitment and selection best practice where required.
  • Prepare employment contracts, contractual amendments and other HR documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor sickness absence, identify trends and provide advice to managers on absence management procedures and best practice.
  • Identify learning and development needs through discussions with managers and workforce planning activities.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the People function.
HR Advisor will have / be:
  • CIPD level 3
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and networking skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
