PE Teacher – Wandsworth Secondary School
A leading secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a dynamic and passionate PE Teacher to join their thriving Physical Education department on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Plan and implement a differentiated curriculum that caters to a range of abilities and interests, promoting physical literacy and healthy lifestyles.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of extracurricular sporting activities, encouraging student participation and promoting school spirit.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the PE department and across the school to enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in PE and sports education.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Demonstrate proven experience teaching PE at the secondary school level (Key Stages 3-5).
- Exhibit a strong commitment to promoting physical activity and healthy living.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Have a passion for sports and a desire to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
