Job Description

Established in 2002, ib vogt GmbH is specialized in the Development, Design and Engineering, Financing, EPC and Operation of solar power and provides turnkey solar power plant solutions to investors internationally.

As a manufacturer-independent integrated developer, the company focuses on tailor-made solar power plant solutions that maximize lifecycle performance and returns.

Since 2009, ib vogt has commissioned plants with a capacity of almost 2 Gigawatt. We employ over 840 specialists, in all areas of the solar power plant value chain in over 40 countries. The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.

The Post-Construction Project Manager ensures the proper management of solar power plants after PAC and during the EPC warranty period. The role handles contract compliance, performance monitoring, and warranty claims, both incoming and outgoing. It involves cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to address issues arising after construction.

  • Serve as the primary internal and external contact for EPC post-construction matters
  • Represent the EPC contractor for assigned projects after execution/construction
  • Manage contracts, including EPC, supply, and works agreements
  • Lead and manage warranty claims, both incoming and outgoing, including financial bonds
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal and external) to resolve post-construction issues
  • Negotiate technical and commercial solutions with clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor the performance of assigned projects against contractual KPIs
  • Oversee and steer discussions regarding contractual under-performance and liquidated damages
  • Provide feedback and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement within the company
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
  • 5-10 years in post-construction, O&M, warranty management or project management
  • Contract and risk management
  • Performance monitoring and reporting
  • EPC and O&M contract negotiation
  • Coordination of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Regulatory compliance and financial claims management
  • Relevant project management or contract management certifications preferred
  • English (Excellent command required); German or other regional languages preferred for stakeholder management
