Financial System Engineer / Chicago / Elite 3E

A leading professional services organization in downtown Chicago is seeking a full-time Senior Financial Systems Engineer to join its technology team in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 remote). This position plays a critical role in supporting enterprise financial applications, system integrations, reporting, and data integrity initiatives. The organization leverages technologies including Elite 3E, Boomi, SQL, APIs, and related financial platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of financial or accounting systems experience
• Experience within the legal industry
• Expertise supporting Elite 3E
• Experience with Intapp Time and/or Emburse Enterprise
• Boomi integration experience
• SQL development and stored procedures
• API integration knowledge
• Requirements gathering and business analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Desired Skills & Experience

• Financial systems implementation experience
• UAT leadership experience
• Process mapping and workflow optimization
• Knowledge of law firm billing and accounting processes
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
