The National Sales Manager Mass & Club is responsible for leading, developing, and executing the Company's strategic sales initiatives across Walmart and Sam's Club in the United States. This role owns full commercial accountability for assigned accounts, including revenue, volume, market share, profitability, trade investment, and executional excellence.

Acting as the primary strategic and day-to-day point of contact, the National Sales Manager builds and sustains strong partnerships with Walmart and Sam's Club merchants and key stakeholders, while positioning the Company as a trusted, value-adding partner within the Food CPG category, with a strong preference for Confections expertise.

This position plays a critical leadership role in translating corporate strategy into customer-specific business plans, leveraging data-driven insights from customer and syndicated sources to identify growth opportunities, optimize assortment and promotional strategies, and drive sustainable performance. The National Sales Manager works cross-functionally with Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Sales Planning, Supply Chain, and Product Development to ensure alignment and flawless execution.

In addition, this role provides direction and oversight to broker partners and internal teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The position requires the ability to manage both short-term execution and long-term strategic initiatives, adapt to a dynamic retail environment, and take on additional responsibilities or expanded scope as business needs evolve. Develop, implement, and execute annual and long-term sales strategies for Walmart & Sams Club US aligned with Morinaga America corporate objectives and growth priorities.

Maintain ownership of assigned group volume, profit, and share quotas, spending budgets, and overall financial results. Lead Joint Business Planning with Walmart & Sams Club, including promotional strategy, pricing, assortment optimization, innovation launches, and long-range planning. Translate company strategy into customer specific plans that drive executional excellence at headquarters, regional, and store levels. Track, analyze, and report sales performance versus goals; identify gaps, risks, and opportunities and develop corrective action plans.

Oversee promotional planning and execution, including annual promotion calendars, event strategy, in-store execution expectations, and post event ROI analysis. Manage pricing strategy and ensure compliance with corporate financial, trade, and margin guidelines. Utilize customer and syndicated data including Walmart Luminate, Retail Link, IRI, & Nielsen to generate insights, inform decisions, and tell a compelling growth story. Analyze sales, competitive, retail, and store-level data to position brands favorably and maximize sales opportunities.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, trade calendars, and financial reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. Partner with Finance to manage deductions, dispute invalid charges, improve net revenue, and enhance profitability. Conduct regular calls and in-person visits with Walmart & Sams Club headquarters, regional offices, and store locations to assess execution, validate strategy, and strengthen relationships. Ensure excellence in retail execution standards across Walmart & Sams Club stores through clear expectations, field feedback, and broker alignment.
