About the Role

A Digital Strategist is an integral part of the Digital Transformation team. Their ability to understand our digital needs determine our success in this domain. This role is an important part of both account planning & delivering support strategies, working to proactively monitor problems, change processes, & handle issues to ensure our consumers win.

Work Responsibilities

•Track news and write stories with speed and editorial judgement

• Write and edit headlines, select visuals, and package stories for maximum impact

• Write sharp, clear copy and engaging headlines for digital readers

• Run and manage liveblogs during real-time events with speed and accuracy

• Should have understanding of International /NRI news

• Track news from agencies, TV channels, and social media in real time

Skills, Experience & Expertise (e.q. only)

• Strong English writing and editing skills

• Hands-on experience with CMS and digital publishing

• Knowledge of SEO and web analytics

• Ability to work under pressure in live news environments

• 2-3 years of experience in English digital media, preferably business news

Eligibility

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Journalism, Mass Communication (English)

• Prior newsroom experience is a must
