About the Role
QuickHire is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector Lead (ITA) to support inspection operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing inspection workflow, supporting quality initiatives, monitoring inspector performance, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and quality standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, driving continuous improvement, and supporting Project Coordinators through coaching and operational oversight.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inspection team workflow to ensure compliance with customer-specific quality standards.
- Evaluate inspector performance and provide feedback to Project Coordinators.
- Support quality planning, assembly, and inspection processes.
- Ensure proper control, documentation, and segregation of non-conforming and scrap materials.
- Coordinate with logistics to maintain accurate material flow and inventory control.
- Perform scrap analysis and reporting.
- Assist with Layered Process Audits (LPA).
- Support calibration verification and inspection equipment control.
- Maintain accurate inspection records in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Support document control and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in internal quality audits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical training in manufacturing or quality systems.
- QMS, ISO, or AS9102 certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2–3 years of manufacturing or plant experience.
- 2–3 years of team leadership experience.
- Experience using precision inspection tools, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Pin Gauges
- Height Gauges
- Strong understanding of quality inspection principles, calibration, and measurement techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality reporting.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment while following safety standards.
