Sr. GenAI Software Engineer or Architect ( W2 only local to GA )

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior GenAI Software Engineer / Architect with 12+ years of software engineering experience and strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, LangGraph, Prompt Engineering, and Context Engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and building enterprise-grade software products and AI-powered solutions from the ground up. This role requires someone who can work across the full technology lifecycle from architecture and development to AI integration, deployment, and production optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale GenAI applications and AI-powered products.
• Build end-to-end software solutions from concept and architecture through production deployment.
• Develop scalable backend and full-stack applications using Python and/or Java.
• Build production-grade Python applications using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Design and implement LLM-powered applications and AI agents using OpenAI, Anthropic, and/or open-source LLMs.
• Develop advanced prompt engineering and context engineering strategies.
• Implement RAG, vector search, knowledge retrieval, session management, and contextual memory solutions.
• Build conversational and agentic workflows using LangGraph and related frameworks.
• Integrate AI agents and LLM capabilities into existing enterprise applications and production systems.
• Design scalable APIs, data pipelines, and integrations using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and production deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and integration issues across AI and software systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with significant architecture responsibilities.
• Proven experience building enterprise production systems and end-to-end software products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or Java.
• Extensive experience with Python full-stack development, including FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and AI application architecture.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering and Context Engineering.
• Experience with AI Agents and agentic workflows, preferably built from scratch.
• Strong hands-on experience with LangGraph or comparable agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with RAG, vector databases/search, embeddings, knowledge retrieval, and conversational memory.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms, APIs, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and architectural skills.

• Contributions to open-source LLM, AI Agent, GenAI, or prompt-engineering projects.
• Experience working with multiple LLM providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models.
• Experience designing multi-agent systems and advanced agentic architectures.
• Experience taking GenAI prototypes from POC to enterprise production.
• Strong understanding of AI application security, scalability, observability, and performance optimization.
