Localization QA

A globally leading technology company based in Austin, TX is looking for a Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) Specialist to join their team. This role will drive the production and quality assurance of localized Commerce content, ensuring an exceptional user experience for international customers across the App Store and digital marketplaces. This role requires native-level linguistic expertise, localization QA experience, and strong project management capabilities to collaborate across international teams, vendor testers, and Localization Program Managers (LPMs).

Key Responsibilities

• Produce localized Commerce content with limited supervision, managing and judging linguistic issues across 39 languages and all global territories.

• Work closely with vendor testers to outline expectations, track localization project milestones, and ensure projects stay on schedule, relevant to the audience, and aligned with brand voice.

• Accurately manage the input of localized data into multiple internal and vendor systems without error.

• Partner with fellow LQAs, LPMs, and vendors to ensure localization projects remain on track and meet high-quality standards.

• Apply keen judgment to complex situations, prioritize tasks wisely in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and support workflow efficiencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent professional experience.

• Native-level linguistic expertise in at least one language in addition to English, paired with excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Familiarity with Wallet, Payment, and Commerce areas.

• 3+ years of relevant experience, including production experience (localization production preferred) and mandatory Localization QA experience.

• Solid understanding of online production processes, extreme attention to detail, and a passion for meeting the needs of international customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Software QA experience.

• Wallet, Payment, and Commerce-related experience in an international marketplace; media-related experience (apps, music, TV, movies) a strong plus.

• Experience in methods of automating workflows.
