Job Description

Job Title: Data Engineer – Google Cloud Platform | CCaaS / Contact Center

Location: Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote)
Employment Type: W2 Only

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Contact Center technologies to support a large-scale Customer Experience (CX) transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable data pipelines, real-time data processing solutions, and cloud-native applications while working with modern Contact Center (CCaaS) platforms.

Candidates with Five9 or Genesys Cloud (GECX) experience are highly preferred. Candidates with Genesys, IVR, or Contact Center experience combined with strong Google Cloud Platform Data Engineering expertise will also be considered.

 

Priority Profile

  1. Data Engineer with Five9 / Genesys Cloud (GECX) experience.
  2. Data Engineer with Genesys / Contact Center / IVR experience.
  3. Strong Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer with expertise in BigQuery, Kafka, Pub/Sub, and ETL

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build and maintain data models supporting reporting and analytics.
  • Develop real-time streaming solutions using Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
  • Design and support cloud-based Contact Center (CCaaS) solutions.
  • Develop and optimize IVR, call-routing, and customer interaction workflows.
  • Integrate Contact Center platforms with enterprise applications through APIs and microservices.
  • Ensure data quality, security, scalability, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and business teams to deliver enterprise-scale customer experience solutions.

 

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and processing large datasets.
  • Strong experience with Kafka or Google Pub/Sub for real-time event streaming.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Five9 or Genesys Cloud (GECX).
  • Experience with Contact Center / CCaaS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Genesys, IVR, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), and call routing.
  • Experience integrating Contact Center platforms with CRM or CTI systems.
  • Exposure to Cloud Run, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and containerized applications.
  • Experience with AI/GenAI or Customer Experience (CX) analytics is a plus.
