The Role • Operate heavy machinery, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to safely move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks as part of daily logistics operations. • Drive specialized equipment to position containers and chassis accurately within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality. • Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate tasks and maintain efficient workflows. • Adhere to established safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety procedures. • Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
