Job description

Department Head Fresh Food Counter | Schwerin, Germany | On-site

We are seeking an experienced Department Head to lead the fresh food counter at a prominent supermarket chain. This role is crucial to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences, making the fresh food section a vibrant hub for customers.

The Role

  • Lead and develop a team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure the highest standards of product quality, freshness, and presentation.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the fresh food counter, including inventory, ordering, and waste management.
  • Implement sales-driving initiatives and maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards.
  • Provide expert advice and outstanding service to customers.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training, preferably in food retail, or equivalent experience in a fresh food or bakery setting.
