AWS Cloud Architect

Role: AWS Cloud Architect

Location: Plano, TX

Job Description:

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure setup for applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native design patterns and experience defining the right-fit application architecture based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Strong understanding of stateful and stateless application design.
• Hands-on experience designing and provisioning AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of AWS security and the ability to meet application compliance requirements.
• Experience working with engineering teams to define infrastructure best practices and processes across the entire infrastructure lifecycle: Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate.
• Experience automating lifecycle activities, including self-service, orchestration, provisioning, and configuration management.
• Experience defining technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
• Ability to learn and use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
