Desktop Support II


Position Overview


Seeking an experienced Desktop Support II professional to provide advanced desktop support and technical assistance within an enterprise environment. This role supports desktop hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, and other end-user technologies while helping drive IT Service Management (ITSM) improvements.

Responsibilities



  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, patch, image, and deploy desktop and laptop systems.

  • Support printers, mobile devices, wireless devices, and other peripherals.

  • Resolve escalated technical issues from the help desk.

  • Provide professional end-user support, including executive-level users.

  • Participate in and lead ITSM process improvement initiatives.

  • Document issues, solutions, and support procedures.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple support requests effectively.

  • Deliver onsite technical support in a fast-paced environment.


Required Qualifications



  • 4+ years of desktop support experience.

  • Experience imaging, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop systems.

  • Experience supporting mobile devices and printers.

  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working with ITIL principles and ITSM processes.

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with strong attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications



  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification.

  • CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent.

  • Experience supporting enterprise environments and executive users.


Work Arrangement



  • Full-time onsite.

  • Candidates must currently reside in Wisconsin.

  • Madison-area candidates strongly preferred.
