Quick Overview
Job Description
Are you an experienced financial reporting professional looking for your next challenge in a bank where you'll actually be known by name?
We're partnering with a well-established banking institution at the heart of Luxembourg to find their next Financial Reporting Officer. This is a rare opportunity to join a close-knit accounting team of fewer than 10 people, where collaboration, autonomy, and versatility are genuinely valued - not just buzzwords. The bank is also embarking on an ERP migration, making this a great time to be part of an exciting transformation project.
Part of a solid, reputable group, this institution offers you the best of both worlds: the stability of a large organisation and the human-scale environment of a smaller, agile team.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports
- Record and monitor all amortisation entries
- Book and control all banking charges
- Handle tax declarations (VAT and corporate income tax) to the relevant authorities
- Coordinate and support annual audits conducted by internal and external auditors
- Process weekly invoice payments
What we're looking for
- Around 7 years of experience in a similar role within the banking sector
- Strong command of regulatory reporting frameworks (FINREP, COREP) and IFRS standards
- Fluency in English; French is a plus
- Rigorous, autonomous, and a genuine team player
What's in It for You?
- Attractive salary plus benefits under the banking collective agreement
- Bonus and additional incentive schemes
- Flexible working hours to support your work-life balance
- A friendly, human-scale working environment
- Perks that make a difference: gifts, team buildings, and more
