Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA -(Hybrid/ 3 days office)
Duration: 6+ months
Job Type: W2 contract
Experience: 3–5 years
Role Overview
We are looking for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer who can own features end-to-end, contribute to architectural decisions with guidance, and work closely with business teams to deliver production-grade software. The ideal candidate has strong Python + React/TypeScript experience and exposure to cloud and AI/LLM integrations.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain frontend and backend components of an internal platform.
  • Develop integrations with cloud and AI infrastructure.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate workflows into software solutions.
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data governance.
  • Follow engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, deployment, and observability.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve production applications.
  • Iterate on features based on user feedback while balancing speed and reliability.
Required Skills
  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Experience with FastAPI or another async Python web framework.
  • Strong React + TypeScript experience in production environments.
  • Experience with REST APIs / backend integrations.
  • Experience with Azure preferred; AWS/Google Cloud Platform also acceptable.
  • Experience with LLM/AI API integrations preferred.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker/containerized deployments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor''s degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Agentic AI / tool-calling experience.
  • Cloud AI services.
  • Observability and production monitoring.
  • Experience with secure applications handling sensitive business data.
