AI Python/Java Developer – GenAI / LLM / Google Cloud Platform

We are seeking an AI/GenAI Developer with strong hands-on experience building and deploying production AI applications using Python, LLMs, PostgreSQL, Java, and Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience developing agentic AI workflows, RAG applications, and scalable cloud-based microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/GenAI applications using Python and modern LLM technologies.
• Build and orchestrate multi-agent LLM workflows using frameworks such as Google ADK, LangChain, or equivalent.
• Develop RAG solutions, including document chunking, vector similarity search, semantic retrieval, and regrouping strategies.
• Work with Google Gemini models through Vertex AI or APIs.
• Implement prompt engineering, structured JSON extraction, output validation, confidence scoring, and LLM response evaluation.
• Design human-in-the-loop feedback workflows, capturing corrections and incorporating business rules into AI inference pipelines.
• Build scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop microservices using Java/Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Deploy and operate containerized AI services on Google Cloud Platform/GKE.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, retry/backoff, and reliability patterns for distributed services.
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL in a dual-database, polyglot microservices environment.
• Collaborate across engineering and business teams to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on AI/ML and GenAI application development.
• 4+ years of Python development.
• Strong experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and agentic AI workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Gemini / Vertex AI or comparable enterprise LLM platforms.
• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, asyncpg, pandas, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• 3+ years of Java/Spring Boot microservices development.
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases.
• Experience deploying applications to Google Cloud Platform/GKE/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud monitoring, logging, IAM, service accounts, and container resource tuning.
• Experience with REST APIs, asynchronoevent-driven architectures, retries, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Strong understanding of secure AI application development, including PII protection and secure API communication.

Preferred Skills

• Google ADK, LangChain, LiteLLM, or similar AI/LLM frameworks.
• Experience with Oracle + PostgreSQL dual-database architectures.
• Healthcare integrations such as NCPDP, HL7/FHIR, or EHR systems.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop AI systems and audit trails.
• Experience with YAML-based AI workflow configuration.
• pytest and integration testing for AI/LLM applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes autoscaling and production optimization.
• Google Cloud Platform/Cloud or relevant technical certifications are a plus.
