As an HVAC Outside Sales Consultant, you’ll build and own a residential book of business.

This is a self-driven, field-based sales role where you’ll develop your own pipeline, meet homeowners in their homes, and serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers confidently choose the right heating and cooling solutions for their needs.

This is an opportunity to build more than individual sales. You’ll develop long-term homeowner relationships, grow your own book of business, and become a trusted resource customers confidently refer to their friends, families, and neighbors.

Build and own your residential sales pipeline and book of business
Generate the majority of your sales opportunities through referrals, past customers, neighborhood canvassing, trade and builder partnerships, and community networking
Meet with homeowners throughout the NYC tri-state area for in-home HVAC consultations
Evaluate existing heating and cooling systems and recommend solutions based on the homeowner’s comfort, efficiency, and budget needs
Educate homeowners on high-efficiency HVAC options, available incentives, and financing so they can make informed purchasing decisions
Prepare and present clear, professional estimates and proposals focused on system performance, efficiency, and long-term value
Document sales activity, estimates, customer communication, and follow-ups in ServiceTitan
Coordinate detailed project handoffs with installation and operations teams to ensure customers receive a smooth experience from signed agreement through project completion
Maintain strong customer relationships after the sale to encourage repeat business and referrals
Independently manage your schedule, appointments, priorities, and pipeline

~ Proven track record of self-generating business and building a sales pipeline
~ HVAC or home services experience strongly preferred
~ Ability to independently manage your schedule, pipeline, follow-ups, and priorities
~ Comfort with in-home consultative selling and customer financing discussions
~ Working knowledge of residential HVAC systems or the ability to learn quickly
