Project Manager

Our client, a major telecommunications company located in Stamford, CT, is seeking a Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract with high-liklihood of extension to 18+ months. The Project Manager will follow a hybrid schedule with four days per week onsite and one day remote, and will be supporting a billing strategy & design team through the full project lifecycle, from initial definition and planning through implementation. This person will own project plans, milestones, scope, schedules, risks, documentation, and status reporting while coordinating across business and technical stakeholders. The role will include leading project meetings, maintaining Jira and project documentation, tracking decisions and action items, and ensuring projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Project Management experience managing projects through the full lifecycle
• Proven experience developing and maintaining project plans, milestones, schedules, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Experience leading project meetings and coordinating cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking, documentation, tasks, and reporting.
• Experience preparing project documentation, meeting minutes, executive/status reports, and tracking action items and decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Telecommunications or cable industry experience.
• Experience supporting billing-related projects, systems, or platforms.
• Familiarity with telecommunications billing technologies such as ICOMS, CSG, or Amdocs.
• Experience with MS Project and Visio.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $40.05 to $57.85 per hour.
