Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or MQ.

The candidate should have experience working in a large corporate environment, contributing across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and maintaining application performance, security, and operational stability. Experience using enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is also required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.

• Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.

• Write and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases.

• Implement messaging and event-driven solutions using Kafka, MQ, or similar technologies.

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Ensure application resiliency, security, performance, and operational stability.

• Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating AI-generated outputs for accuracy, quality, and security.

• Follow responsible AI practices, including data sensitivity requirements and secure handling of inputs and outputs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

• Support CI/CD processes and contribute to continuous improvement in development and deployment workflows.

• Work with cloud technologies such as AWS or Microsoft Azure to support application development and deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with practical experience applying them in a professional environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.

• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining applications in a large enterprise or corporate environment.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database querying.

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or MQ.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools.

• Ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated code, tests, troubleshooting recommendations, and documentation.

• Understanding of responsible AI usage, data security, confidentiality, and secure engineering practices.

• Experience across the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices.

• Exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, and application security.

• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and supporting large-scale enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with automated testing and continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

• Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment.

• Understanding of secure coding standards, application monitoring, and production support practices.
