Job Summary:

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Contracts Associate for a full-time position with 8-hour day shifts. We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual who is able to work onsite at our Glendale, CA location.

Supports managed care contracting activities on behalf of the organization. Supports and assists departmental leadership to maximize contract reimbursements from third party payer agreements. Assists with the communication and implementation of financial and operational requirements of third party payer agreements.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

Scans all contracts and maintains accurate records of contracts and correspondence. Maintains log/s for all contracts, including expiration dates and contract rates. Performs accounting, documentation and filing of contracts.
Organizes contracts and maintains computer archives. Assists with research and utilizes special projects to assist with developing and updating contracts. Maintains systems and tracks variance statistics.
Assists with contractual budgets and revenue cycle performance. Works with internal stakeholders and external payer representatives to ensure contract compliance and resolution of payment issues.
Assists with research/special projects to determine the compliance of all contracts.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
