RN Registered Nurse - Pre-Op/PACU

Full Time, 40 hours/week

This position rotates between the Pre-OP and PACU. It is 4/10 hour shifts each week. 530a-4p, and 9am-730p. On call, holiday, and weekend rotations are required.

Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care by leading the coordination and delivery of nursing services. You'll support patients and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Your role is vital in ensuring high-quality care, effective communication with the healthcare team, and finding solutions to meet patient goals.

What You Will Do

• Lead the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.

One year minimum experience in either ED, ICU or acute care setting PACU. BLS ACLS and PALS all required within six months of hire.
