Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UX Designer to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.

The Senior UX Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into seamless and visually compelling user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design processes, from user research and conceptualization to wireframing, prototyping, and final design delivery.

• Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver user-centered solutions.

• Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components, and UX/UI standards.

• Translate complex business and technical requirements into intuitive, accessible, and scalable interfaces.

• Present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

• Ensure consistency across desktop, mobile, and responsive applications.

• Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and design thinking methodologies.

• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, product design, or interaction design.

• Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design and prototyping tools.

• Proven experience designing enterprise applications, web platforms, and mobile interfaces.

• Expertise in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.

• Experience creating wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes.

• Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design expertise and successful project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing complex enterprise or SaaS applications.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.

• Knowledge of UX analytics, A/B testing, and usability measurement.

• Experience working with large-scale enterprise organizations.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and emerging UX technologies.
