Quick Overview
Job Description
We pull medical technology from the future to solve human health.
Scarlet is authorised to assess and certify medical devices. We combine clinical, technical and regulatory expertise with AI agents and software so rigorous certification can keep pace with product development at the world’s most ambitious technology companies, without lowering the safety bar.
Our customers have cut a year or more from their certification timelines for new AI-enabled medical devices and shortened product-update cycles from months to weeks. You’ll join a team building the infrastructure that makes these outcomes repeatable at scale.
About the role
Be our first commercial hire in the US! Your goal is to build relationships with regulatory consultants, regulatory attorneys, and other key third parties, such that they advocate for Scarlet and recommend us to their clients in the right context. Responsibilities
Build productive connections with individuals and organisations in Scarlet's ecosystem
Furnish these connections with the required knowledge and material to understand Scarlet and the value we offer to healthcare innovators.
Attend industry events to grow awareness and adoption of Scarlet
Collaborate closely with members of the Commercial team to effectively communicate Scarlet's mission and value proposition
Develop and iterate strategy and processes to align with our commercial goals.
Required qualifications
You have strong experience of developing a productive professional network and establishing commercial relationships with key industry stakeholders.
You're insatiably curious about the world and what makes people tick
You have a high EQ, hugely enjoy meeting people, and can easily navigate complex human relationships
You can build rapport with people across the industry: from senior figures at established firms to one-person consultancies, and everyone in between
You have exceptional written & verbal communication skills and you understand the importance of thoughtfully following up with the people you meet.
You balance thoughtful reflection with action; you can both think deeply and operate at pace
You are keen to travel up to 40% of the time
Preferred qualifications
You have a well-developed network in, and the knowledge of, the US digital health industry.
You are familiar with medical device regulation and Software as a Medical Device
